Sean is an aspiring pastry chef who works as a security guard at an office building. One day he gets the opportunity to present his original pies to a huge corporation called Staroma Coffee. They reject his creations. Afterwards Sean encounters a series of unfortunate events including his girlfriend leaving him, his car getting towed, losing his job, losing his apartment and becoming homeless. Through his faith in the trials and tribulations, the only thing he holds onto is being confronted by a homeless angel in disguise (Lil Zane) who delivers him a message to not give up on life.
